Acknowledgment and waiver

I agree to and acknowledge the following:

Birthday Party Packages

Cancelation policy
  • 100% Refund minus a 1.5% processing fee if the booking is cancelled at least 15 days before the date of the party
  • 50% Refund if the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the date of the party
  • No refund if the booking is cancelled under 7 days, however the party can be rescheduled subject to availability.

Conditions
  • I agree to ensure that the party (including any pack down) finishes within the designated venue hire period. Parties must not run over due to lateness by the customer. Parties are scheduled back-to-back with a brief cleaning/set-up time in between. Because of the quick turnaround, we must insist that you adhere to your party times.
  • You are responsible for the supervision and safety of all the children in your party at all times.
  • You must ensure that Paradice facilities are not left in an abused or damaged condition. Any damage to Paradice property will be charged to the customer who can then take the matter up with the person/s responsible.
  • We do not allow attachments to the venue (doors, walls, or building). Screws, nails, or adhesives (including Blu-Tac) are not permitted. Party poppers are not allowed.
  • All food is provided by Paradice, therefore no food may be brought in and consumed on the premises. For birthday parties you are permitted to bring in lollies, loot bags and a birthday cake.
  • Minimum of 8 children for Party Room Packages.
  • Full payment for the minimum number of kids is required on booking. The balance for additional participants must be paid prior to the commencement of the party.
  • Please note that if you are late for your party, you will still have to pay full price and will have the room for the time you booked it for and no longer.

Entertainment Activities

Ice Skating
  • Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets must be used in full; they cannot be partly redeemed. In the case of cancellation, your ticket can be rebooked for a later date.
  • Tickets must be redeemed during scheduled public sessions. The ticket is valid for one time entry for the duration of the session booked.
Laser Tag

  • 100% refund or credit for cancellations done up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to the game start. Please contact Paradice to advise.

  • This is not applicable to laser tag birthday parties. Please see birthday party terms and conditions for policies relating to laser tag birthday parties.

  • Cancellation within 48 hours of the game start – customers will be allocated a credit, so that they can rebook their game at another time.

Mini Golf

  • 100% refund or credit for cancellations done up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to the game start. Please contact Paradice to advise.

  • All equipment is Paradice property and must remain within the mini golf area.

  • This is not applicable to mini golf birthday parties. Please see birthday party terms and conditions for policies relating to mini golf birthday parties.

  • Cancellation within 48 hours of the game start – customers will be allocated a credit, so that they can rebook their game at another time.

Escape Rooms
  • I will abide by the rules and reasonable directions as advised to me by Breakout staff prior to and during a game.
  • Breakout Staff may terminate the game at any time should I or any of the participants in my group fail to abide by the rules or follow the instructions of Breakout staff and I will not be entitled to any refund of the fees paid to Breakout.
  • I will compensate Breakout for any damage I, or anyone in my group, cause to Breakout’s property either deliberately or through misuse including damage to any furniture, props, equipment, puzzles, or the fabric of the room.
  • Some or all the elements of Breakout’s escape room experience are protected by copyright including puzzle concepts and design, room layout and get up, text and other elements. I will not directly or indirectly copy, reproduce, modify, or otherwise attempt to use or exploit any element of the escape room experience and will not assist any other person to do so.
  • I will not publicize or otherwise share (using social media such as Facebook, twitter or otherwise) any elements of the escape room experience, including solutions or hints to the puzzles without Breakout’s prior written consent.
  • I will pay to Breakout on demand any losses, costs, or damages (including legal costs) suffered or incurred by Breakout or its related companies because of any breach by me of conditions 4 and/or 5 Above.
  • There are risks involved with participating in Breakout’s games which I have read about in this form. I have considered the risks and I freely choose to assume responsibility for any risks.
  • 100% refund or credit for cancellations done up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to the game start. Please contact Paradice to advise.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of the game start – customers will be allocated a credit, so that they can rebook their game at another time.  No refund or credit if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
  • This is not applicable to escape room birthday parties. Please see birthday party terms and conditions for policies relating to escape room birthday parties.
  • Our escape room experience consists of live puzzle games and involves the illusion of being trapped in a room. We have made reasonable efforts to identify and minimize the risks to you as a participant, however there are risks that it is not practical for us to eliminate such as tripping over taped down cords, glass breakage, collision in low light conditions or injury caused by contact with other members of your group.
  • If you have any medical condition that makes you susceptible to confined spaces, stress, or light fluctuation (such as claustrophobia, epilepsy, or an anxiety disorder) or if you suffer from fits or seizures, we recommend you inform a staff member before the game and consider if you wish to participate or not. If you choose to play, we are not responsible for any injury or distress caused. Note that you may exit the room at any time during the game, but you will not be allowed to re-enter

  • .This product expires 12 months from the date of purchase, or at the end of any stated term or validity period (including a specified number of days), whichever occurs first, unless otherwise stated.
  • This product is non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser, unless otherwise stated.
  • This product is non-refundable, except where required by law.
    This product must be presented at the time of redemption.
  • We reserve the right to change operating hours or close due to weather, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances.

Skating Academy

Skating Academy classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. A missed class can be completed as a makeup lesson on a different class day within the same term. Missed classes are not transferable between terms.

Please bear in mind that ice skating is an extreme sport which can result in harm or injury. The risks and hazards include but are not limited to tripping and falling, collisions and cold exposure. By participating in the activities offered by Paradice Ice Skating you acknowledge these risks could result in injury and you skate at your own risk. KEEP YOURSELF SAFE. The wearing of helmets or Paradice approved protective headbands is compulsory. Paradice Ice Skating

Entry is conditional on reading and following these rules. By booking tickets and entering the venue you agree to these terms of service.

  • All bookings must be paid in full upon booking. If you show up late or are a no-show, you will still be charged in full, and your timeslot will not be extended.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets must be used in full; they cannot be partly redeemed. In the case of cancellation, your ticket can be rebooked for a later date. Tickets must be redeemed during scheduled public sessions. The ticket is valid for one time entry for the duration of the visit.
  • Please bear in mind that ice skating is an extreme sport which can result in harm or injury. The risks and hazards include but are not limited to tripping and falling, collisions and cold exposure. By participating in the activities offered by Paradice Ice Skating you acknowledge these risks could result in injury and you skate at your own risk. KEEP YOURSELF SAFE.   • No food or drink to be taken on the rink.
  • Socks must be worn when wearing hire skates.
  • No photos or recordings of any kind are to be made of other skaters without their permission.
  • Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction unless you are advised to do otherwise by staff.
  • Any persons deemed by staff to be intoxicated by alcohol and/or drugs will not be allowed to skate, removed from the venue and future entry may be refused.
  • Please listen to the direction of staff; they are there for your safety and the safety of others.
  • All patrons must report any injury to staff at the time of event. Ice packs and first aid supplies will be available.
  • No carrying of children or any other persons on the rink at any time.
  • No pushing or disruptive behaviour that could jeopardise the safety of other skaters.
  • Skate within your own ability and be aware of other skaters.
  • Staff will not accept any abusive or threatening behaviour under any circumstances. Any persons deemed to be doing so will be removed from the venue.
  • No hire skates to be worn outside of venue. Skates must be removed prior to going outside.
 
Disclaimer
  • Paradice strives to provide you with a safe skating environment. Please bear in mind that skating is an extreme sport, and you skate at your own risk.
  • Paradice are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage, however caused, to yourself or a 3rd party, your property, or clothing.
  • People skating at this venue do so entirely at their own risk. Paradice cannot be held responsible for any accidents caused by in-house structures, hire skates, objects, or the actions of other skaters.
  • The use of helmets is mandatory during all skating activity. Wearing protective equipment will reduce the chance of injury due to falls or collisions.
  • Persons using their own skates and equipment are responsible for the maintenance and safety of such. Paradice reserves the right to refuse to allow persons to use skates or equipment that they deem unfit for use. Paradice cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injury or damage caused by privately owned skates or equipment to yourself or a 3rd party.
  • Paradice reserves the right to remove persons from the venue for any reasons. We will remove people immediately with no refund for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, including drug and alcohol abuse or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of staff.
  • We highly recommend that you do not take part in skating  activities if you suffer from high blood pressure, heart conditions, back or neck problems, brittle bones, joint injuries, pregnancy, epilepsy or any other condition that could be aggravated by this activity and recommend you consult with your physician before starting any exercise program.
  • There may be flashing and strobe lighting as part of this event.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times. Any child we believe to be unaccompanied will be asked to leave the rink and monitored safely at the venue until a responsible adult or guardian is on site or further action could be taken at the discretion of staff.
  • PHOTO RELEASE/WAIVER: By attending this event I am giving permission for Paradice to use photos in its promotional, digital and printed media. Please advise Paradice via sales@paradice.co.nz if you wish to be excluded from this.
