All bookings must be paid in full upon booking. If you show up late or are a no-show, you will still be charged in full, and your timeslot will not be extended.

Covid-19 (applicable to all bookings)

Red Light

Avondale: Spectators will be required to pay general admission to enter the facility due to the capacity restrictions under red light. This applies to ice skating and laser tag bookings.

Botany: Spectators will be required to pay general admission to enter the ice skating facility due to the capacity restrictions under red light.

Scheduled bookings will not be hosted and this cancellation policy applies if imposed Covid-19 restrictions require Paradice to close.

  • We are happy to move your booking to another date. Let us know what date you would like to rebook, and we can let you know availability.
  • We can offer a store credit for the amount paid and it’s valid for 1 year – this credit can be used toward any Paradice activity.
  • We can offer a refund minus a 1.5% processing fee for all bookings made online through Briq Bookings. Admin bookings will incur a 3% processing fee.

Vaccine Certificates

Paradice Entertainment will maintain a standard policy across all aspects of operations regarding the use of vaccine certificates at each stage of the Covid-19 Protection Framework. Vaccine certificates will be required from everyone 12 years 3 months and older to enter the facility.

Medical exemptions will be considered, but they must be issued through an official pathway recognized by the government.

Birthday Party Packages

Cancelation policy

100% Refund minus a 1.5% processing fee if the booking is cancelled at least 15 days before the date of the party

50% Refund if the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before the date of the party

No refund if the booking is cancelled under 7 days, however the party can be rescheduled subject to availability.

Conditions

I agree to ensure that the party (including any pack down) finishes within the designated venue hire period. Parties must not run over due to lateness by the customer. Parties are scheduled back-to-back with a brief cleaning/set-up time in between. Because of the quick turnaround, we must insist that you adhere to your party times.

You are responsible for the supervision and safety of all the children in your party at all times.

You must ensure that Paradice facilities are not left in an abused or damaged condition. Any damage to Paradice property will be charged to the customer who can then take the matter up with the person/s responsible.

We do not allow attachments to the venue (doors, walls, or building). Screws, nails, or adhesives (including Blu-Tac) are not permitted. Party poppers are not allowed.

All food is provided by Paradice, therefore no food may be brought in and consumed on the premises. For birthday parties you are permitted to bring in lollies, loot bags and a birthday cake.

Minimum of 8 children for Party Room Packages.

Full payment for the minimum number of kids is required on booking. The balance for additional participants must be paid prior to the commencement of the party.

Please note that if you are late for your party, you will still have to pay full price and will have the room for the time you booked it for and no longer.

Entertainment Activities

Ice Skating

Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets must be used in full; they cannot be partly redeemed. In the case of cancellation, your ticket can be rebooked for a later date. Tickets must be redeemed during scheduled public sessions. The ticket is valid for one time entry for the duration of the session booked.

Laser Tag

100% refund or credit for cancellations done up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to the game start. Please contact Paradice to advise.

Cancellation within 48 hours of the game start – customers will be allocated a credit, so that they can rebook their game at another time.

This is not applicable to laser tag birthday parties. Please see birthday party terms and conditions for policies relating to laser tag birthday parties.

Mini Golf

100% refund or credit for cancellations done up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to the game start. Please contact Paradice to advise.

Cancellation within 48 hours of the game start – customers will be allocated a credit, so that they can rebook their game at another time.

All equipment is Paradice property and must remain within the mini golf area.

This is not applicable to mini golf birthday parties. Please see birthday party terms and conditions for policies relating to mini golf birthday parties.

Escape Rooms

100% refund or credit for cancellations done up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to the game start. Please contact Paradice to advise.

Cancellation within 48 hours of the game start – customers will be allocated a credit, so that they can rebook their game at another time.  No refund or credit if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.

This is not applicable to escape room birthday parties. Please see birthday party terms and conditions for policies relating to escape room birthday parties.

Our escape room experience consists of live puzzle games and involves the illusion of being trapped in a room. We have made reasonable efforts to identify and minimize the risks to you as a participant, however there are risks that it is not practical for us to eliminate such as tripping over taped down cords, glass breakage, collision in low light conditions or injury caused by contact with other members of your group.

If you have any medical condition that makes you susceptible to confined spaces, stress, or light fluctuation (such as claustrophobia, epilepsy, or an anxiety disorder) or if you suffer from fits or seizures, we recommend you inform a staff member before the game and consider if you wish to participate or not. If you choose to play, we are not responsible for any injury or distress caused. Note that you may exit the room at any time during the game, but you will not be allowed to re-enter.

Acknowledgment and waiver

I agree to and acknowledge the following:

  1. I will abide by the rules and reasonable directions as advised to me by Breakout staff prior to and during a game.
  2. Breakout Staff may terminate the game at any time should I or any of the participants in my group fail to abide by the rules or follow the instructions of Breakout staff and I will not be entitled to any refund of the fees paid to Breakout.
  3. I will compensate Breakout for any damage I, or anyone in my group, cause to Breakout’s property either deliberately or through misuse including damage to any furniture, props, equipment, puzzles, or the fabric of the room.
  4. Some or all the elements of Breakout’s escape room experience are protected by copyright including puzzle concepts and design, room layout and get up, text and other elements. I will not directly or indirectly copy, reproduce, modify, or otherwise attempt to use or exploit any element of the escape room experience and will not assist any other person to do so.
  5. I will not publicize or otherwise share (using social media such as Facebook, twitter or otherwise) any elements of the escape room experience, including solutions or hints to the puzzles without Breakout’s prior written consent.
  6. I will pay to Breakout on demand any losses, costs, or damages (including legal costs) suffered or incurred by Breakout or its related companies because of any breach by me of conditions 4 and/or 5 Above.
  7. There are risks involved with participating in Breakout’s games which I have read about in this form. I have considered the risks and I freely choose to assume responsibility for any risks.
