Christmas Ice Festival
Saturday 5th December Avondale 4:15pm–6:30pm, Botany 4:45pm-7pm
What is the Ice Festival: Filled with Fun Activities to celebrate your year of ice skating. All the skaters from each class day have a choreographed routine to perform including all our skaters this term from new to more experienced skaters Tiny tots to children, Adults, development classes from all levels + figure skating exhibitions. 45-60 minutes of performances, followed by a fun skate, where friends & family can also skate with you and enjoy the entertainment, sleigh rides and Santa will also be making an appearance!
Practices: Each class day performance has been choreographed during their normal class time, no need to come to an extra day. Coaches are still developing their technical skills & showcase these along with group formations into their choreography for the Ice Festival.
When: Saturday 5th December
Arrival Time
Avondale: 4pm arrival, 4:15pm on-ice warm up, 4:30pm performances, 5.20pm-6:30pm Christmas Skate
Botany: 4.30pm arrival, 4:45pm on-ice warm up, 5pm performances, 5.50pm-7pm Christmas Skate
*After on-ice warm up, skaters are seated with their class on left side of grandstand and return to your class row after performance so you can join in the finale.

Cost for students to attend Ice Festival: This year as a thank you for being part of our skate school programme all our current Skate School & Development Skaters there will be no charge, FREE! Includes performance + Christmas skate afterwards.
Spectator Performances only = $5 per person, friends and family are welcome watch the performances.
Spectate performances + join in the fun Christmas skate after the performance = $13 (Under 5 years = $9).

Parent help: please let your head coach know if you can help on the day helping to lead skaters groups off & on the ice.
Costume for all class days: Black leggings or Jeans, shirt=Christmas colours Santa hat or Christmas head wear, decoration e.g. antlers
